I am very impressed and inspired by this site. It is a true source of inspiration, comfort and hope! Pray for Mom and I. I am 44 year old and have always had a deep faith in Our Lady, ever since my years as toddler. Since childhood, I have carried my rosary with me all the time. We pray and invoke her sweet name everyday. As, a seven year old child, I was miraculously (overnight) healed of a physical ailement (warts over several parts of my hands and face. After a prayerfull request, during a Marian Pilgramige, at Notre Dame du Cap, in Canada, may prayers were answered the very next day. The next morning, upon rising, I discovered that ALL my warts had disappeared. Upon discovery, I hollered for my parents, who rushed to my bedside and praised Our Lady, Mother of God.

I have an 11 year old Granddaughter that has asked many questions about the Blessed Mother and the Rosary. I told her I would try to get some information for her over the Internet. I was so spiritually moved by the information I found. I will print it and make up a binder for her to cherish all her life. It has everything needed to help her in understanding the Rosary. I have enjoyed prayering the rosary. I wished the rosary was part of the seminary life here in Wisconsin. We have a group of about twenty guys that go to the main chapel at nine-fifteen pm to pray the rosary. I thank God for the graces our family has received from praying the rosary. Twenty three years ago our daughter was born. She had lack of oxygen at birth and she now experiences the effects of Cerebral Palsy. Her life has been challenging because for the first 12 years she had no speech. The year she made her first communion she started using assistive technology for speech. Our daughter, Christine has big brown eyes, a beautiful smile and a tenacious spirit. With the help of a laptop computer she is able to communicate. I'm praying she will be given graces to compose her own thoughts one day. Currently we program messages in her laptop for her. The rosary has given us strength to continue to find solutions for her. We have a typical son, Randy whose compassionate, sensitive and a teacher for us with his profound insight. My husband and I have been married 27 years and we thank God for our unique journey with our family, friends, professionals and technology. We have completed a project with the Nebraska Assistive Technology Project and produced a film which tells our story. It's titled, "On My Way To Independence"! We're thankful to all the caring professionals with whom we have relied upon these 23 years, our daughter's assistive technology and ability to be resilient to change. This film was made to try to help others in need of an assistive technology "miracle!" I'm a new Americorps Member and will be working at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska with at-risk students. Our Mother Mary and God are present in our lives and I'm thankful for my faith. I don't know what people do without it. Thank you for this beautiful opportunity to share our story. I'm sure our daughter will learn to read and relax her body with God's help. I thought I would share with you this profound story about my mother, Jean Bigelow. Mother died on Dec 31, 1997. That last night that I saw her before she died, mother was reciting the Hail Mary particulary the part about praying for us sinners at the hour of our death. Her hands were darting about in the air. I got a rosary and mother clasped it in her hands. I think that night as she lay in the hospital bed, Jesus was reaching out to her to take her home. I got an old Catholic prayerbook and read prayers to my mother. She seemed to find comfort in these old prayers like act of contrition. Her final prayer was the Hail Mary. Mother was always a devout Catholic who loved our Lord Jesus and Mary. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. I really miss her right now. Sheila

I visited a church in Panama City, FL, two years ago. What struck me as absolutely divine was that before Sun. mass, the priest said the rosary, before he started the mass. Your site is one of the most beautiful I've come across. I hope to visit Lourdes, Fatima and Medjugore one day with my family. I hope also one day that my children can have the same devotion to our Lord and our Holy Mother as you have. I am in the process of building my own page now but because I have two young children it takes longer. It is still very haphazard and I have the ideas but take very long to implement them. I have the intention of putting up the 15 Mysteries of the Rosary but am not sure how I should arrange them as I have a rosary book with the same beautiful pictures. Right now I have no web page. But I will be making one for an advanced Computer course I'm taking in college. I'd like the world to know of Mary Ellen Kelly 1922-1961. She was a great Marian devotee. I'm trying to write her life story. She was inmovable due to Rheumatoid Arthritis from about age sixteen. She traveled to Lourdes, Fatima, Rome, Italy-where Pope Pius XX11 spoke to her from the balcony. Found her autobiography BUT WITH THE DAWN, REJOICING AT AGE 13 (1963)Started serious research on her life about four years ago. Her home was in Marcus, Cherokee County, Iowa. She wrote for the publication QUEEN OF ALL HEARTS I have all 67 issues she wrote articles in-that was from the July- August 1950 through the last one printed after her death. That was the July-August 1961 issue. Contacted Fr. Roger Charest, founder and still editor of QOAH's at age 82 years. He resides in Bay Shore, NY.
